On January 6, Samsung Electronics held its online ‘First Look 2021’ event ahead of CES 2021, the world’s largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition.
During the event, Samsung declared its commitment to a more accessible and sustainable future and introduced its 2021 product range of Neo QLED, MICRO LED, and Lifestyle TVs.
Samsung has now trademarked 'QLED Neo', 'QLED Platinum', 'QLED+', and 'QLED Z' ahead of the launch of its 2021 TVs. Its first reported on the QLED+ and Z trademarks but the company has filed trademarks for other variations too.
Samsung is taking QLED to the next level enabled by new light source, Quantum Mini LED precisely controlled by Quantum Matrix Technology and Neo Quantum Processor, a powerful picture processor optimized for Neo QLED. Its flagship 8K (QN900A) and 4K (QN90A) models.
MicroLED technology transfers micrometer-scale LEDs into LED modules, resulting in what resembles wall tiles comprised of mass-transferred clusters of almost microscopic lights. Mounted together as a uniform canvas and plugged in, they create a visual experience similar to what you get with premium QLED TVs.
